  • Genesis model and powertrain line-up simplified:
        — 5.0-liter direct-injected Tau V8 engine now exclusive to 5.0 R-Spec model
        — Standard 5.0-liter model no longer available
        — 4.6-liter V8 no longer available
        — 3.8-liter V6 available in three equipment configurations

  • New optional eight-inch display with navigation and an enhanced multi-media controller and
        Driver Information System (DIS) on 3.8L w/Technology package and Standard on 5.0L

      — New larger 64GB solid-state drive, which
          allows generous music, image and video
          storage or Bluetooth music-streaming
          capability via USB download. Includes
          Gracenote® album art
      — All New Menu structure and layout
      — A simple pop-up message now appears to
          help pair a phone and the voice-recognition
          software understands street addresses and
          cities, all in one sequential sentence

       — Route screen displays speed limits and details the next three navigation maneuvers
       — Lane guidance outlines the lanes the driver needs to stay in when a highway splits
       — Junction view uses street and actual road sign images
           to match what the driver will see when arriving at the
           next maneuver.
       — Zagat® restaurant ratings are integrated into the point
           of interest tool
       — Sirius XM data services have also been enhanced, with
           Sports, Stocks and Weather information.

       standard feature on the 5.0 R-Spec, also

        — When the vehicle departs the lane without
            turn signal, a warning light and chime are
            triggered to restore the driver's attention.
         — LDWS operates when the vehicle exceeds
             43 MPH.

    • Front/rear parking assistance system (Parking
       sensors beep when you get close to an object)

    •  Smart Cruise Control - Radar located on the
       right side of the front bumper judges the
       distance with objects in front of the vehicle.
        — With the SCC engaged, driver selects
            distance with the vehicle in front of them
            (1-3 car lengths)
        — SCC will operate like a regular cruise control
            l under conditions that there are no vehicles
            in front

       — When there are other vehicles in front, SCC
           engages the brakes automatically and slows
           down the vehicle, maintaining speed with the
           vehicle in front while retaining the set
  • Electronic Parking Brake with Automatic Vehicle
        Hold on the 3.8 Technology Package &
        standard on 5.0 R-Spec
        — Eliminates the need for hand brake lever or
            pedal parking brake on footwell
        — EPB and AVH controls are located to the left
            of the steering wheel on the dashboard
        — When EPB is engaged, it will disengage
            automatically when the vehicle gas pedal is
        — The Automatic Vehicle Hold will engage the
            parking brake automatically when the vehicle
            comes to a complete stop, even when the gear selector is engaged in “D”, allowing the
            driver to not keep the brake pedal depressed at a full stop (red light)
