An All-New Two-Door Sport Coupe is added to the industry-leading Elantra line-up and new Standard and Optional equipment are added to Elantra Four-Door Sedan.


NEW FEATURES

  • An all-new sporty Elantra 2-door Coupe is introduced in two trim levels — the GS and SE to be available in May '12
  • The 4-door Elantra sedan is offered in GLS and Limited trim levels
  • The GLS M/T base model has been upgraded to include air conditioning, cruise control, 16-inch steel wheels, telescopic steering wheel and solar glass with windshield shade band (2012MY M/T Comfort Package added as standard)
  • Heated front seats have been added to the GLS A/T Preferred Package
  • Power driver seat with lumbar support has been added as a standard feature to the Limited trim
  • Dual automatic temperature control wi/Clean Air Ionizer and automatic defogging system has been added to the SE and Limited Technology Packages
  • Platform Audio 3.0 replaces Autonet 172-Watt audio system to add greater functionality (running change) MD (HMC) SOP Aug 2012; UD (HMMA) SOP Sept 2012:
      — Adds two knobs for better audio functionality

    2013MY Elantra features a Nu 1.8L Dual- CVVT engine and is classified as PZEV in some states.
